Remember this, when you step over my door sill, you’ve been raised. You know the difference between right and wrong. Do right. Don’t let anybody else raise you and make you change. And remember this, you can always come home.’

Hubby played alumni football.

Justin played on the Bandon Tigers alumni football team against the Marshfield Pirates alumni team. He was pretty stoked to play and it was fun to watch. There were some pretty old players out there and it was full contact!

Here's my link http://lilacornacademy.blogspot.com/ feels good to do it instead of just talk about it!

“Maturity consists of no longer being taken in by oneself”

There are so many days waisted on worry! I no longer want to be eaten alive by being scared of the unknown and worrying about things I cannot control. This will either be the death of me or the re-birth of me, I choose the latter. The immature spend their lives exploring endless possibilities; then they do nothing, I feel pretty immature right now cause I have always wanted to be a business owner or try a new venture but always talked myself out of it. Maturity is perseverance, the ability to sweat out a project or a situation in spite of heavy opposition and discouraging setbacks. It's time to be in control of me and quit being so scared!

Painted a t-shirt.

Tried my hand at painting a t-shirt took me awhile but I like how it turned out. The shirt is for an annual girls night me and two of my best friends Erika H. and Arianna F. have every year in November. We've done it for the past six years now.

Patients with Brain injurys art work.

By Harrison S.

Art made by individuals whose brain injury primarily affects one hemisphere is often characterized by crowding half the surface while ignoring the balance. Harrison, whose background was in theater and opera, tended to ignore the left side of his paintings which corresponded to his paralysis. By my nagging him about the left corners of his paintings, he grudgingly addressed the left sides. Good-naturedly nicknaming me "Floyd", I occasionally would hear his bellowing, baritone voice call out to me from the far end of the hall, "Hey Floyd, what about those 'freakin' corners?"

Medication eased his pain and made him drowsy; art was his medication for energy and rehabilitation. It revved his motor and ignited his cantankerousness, enabling him to confidently mount assaults on canvases with brilliant outcomes in the form of portraits and landscapes. In his portrait of a soulful Christ, with excellent corners, Harrison powerfully expresses suffering and redemption - hope.

I stumbled across this website it's a rehabilitation center for people who have suffered brain injury's it's called Northeast center for special care. They use art as part of the rehabilitation process, they share the patients art on their web site and I like this one by Eric F. Not bad for some one who is recovering from a brain injury.

This is a wooden tool box I picked up from a second hand store when I am done painting, it will be filled up with baby items and then gifted to one of my best friends Erika.

This one is pretty self explanatory.
